The FLASHWAVE 7420 combines optical, Ethernet and certified storage solutions in a scalable platform supporting multiple protocols, including Enterprise Systems Connection (ESCON), Fiber Connection (FICON) and Fiber Channel.
After evaluating competing products, SRP Telecom chose the carrier class FLASHWAVE 7420 for its ultra-high bandwidth, lowest-possible latency, zero packet loss and flexibility. They will be installing the Fujitsu platform in major carrier-neutral facilities including IO Phoenix, IO Scottsdale and Phoenix NAP. SRP Telecom now offers carriers and enterprise customers in the Phoenix area access to a metro network capable of supporting cloud-computing, storage networking, disaster recovery, business continuity and converged applications, with security and availability backed by a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center.
