SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Dow Hotel Company, LLC (DHC), a hotel ownership, investment and management company, today announced the promotion of Howard Gottlieb to general manager of the Chicago Marriott Suites Deerfield, Ill.
In his new role, Gottlieb will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 248-suite hotel. Prior to his promotion, Gottlieb was the hotel’s director of sales and marketing, responsible for increasing the property’s RevPAR from 109 percent to 122 percent over three years and growing top account production by 21 percent.

Gottlieb’s hospitality career has been centered on sales and marketing, with director of sales and sales management positions at various full-service and extended stay properties, most recently including Homewood Suites by Hilton Linconshire.
Set on Chicago's North Shore just off of the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), the all-suite hotel is close to O'Hare Airport (ORD), downtown Chicago and local attractions, including Six Flags Great America, Gurnee Mills and the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. The two-room suites provide a sitting room with a 32-inch LCD, HD flat-screen TV and Plug-In Technology, wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, and a luxurious bath, as well as a separate sleeping area. Hotel amenities include a fitness center with cardio & weight equipment, indoor and outdoor pool. The hotel also features Basil's Bistro, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the hotel's lounge/outdoor patio.
