(CIE), together with Insignia Sports & Entertainment, have forged an alliance to launch a fully interactive second-screen experience to accompany original episodes of World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event telecasts airing on ESPN each Tuesday night in primetime. Last night's episode on ESPN aired at 9:30 p.m. ET and featured back-to-back, hour-long shows.
Powered by innovative, patent-pending technologies, the app offers a truly immersive experience, enabling viewers to play along with industry-leading poker features in a fun and captivating way.
Now anyone with an iPhone or iPad (Android devices to follow in a few weeks) can download the WSOP-ACTV8 app and participate in the World Series of Poker television program like never before.
Using proprietary technology, the WSOP-ACTV8 app, once downloaded, will recognize you are watching an original WSOP-ESPN telecast and will engage the user with interactive and social content.

The companion app will include predictive elements like:
