“Exacq is an innovator and has quickly become an industry leader in the video surveillance industry,” notes Dave Underwood, president of Exacq Technologies. “In 2006 we introduced a hybrid video surveillance server. It allowed end users of surveillance systems to connect their existing analog cameras to the server while being able to seamlessly add the latest IP cameras as well. In many cases, IP cameras offer high definition and a greater deal of control than standard definition analog cameras. With the rapid rise in sales of IP cameras in our industry, our exacqVision hybrid server turned out to be the perfect migration path for security professionals. Today we’ve introduced a complete video management system software solution that runs directly on certain IP cameras.”
