SÃO PAULO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Systagenix Brazil announces the launch of two new advanced wound care products, SILVERCEL® NON-ADHERENT and ADAPTIC® DIGIT.
SILVERCEL® NON-ADHERENT is an antimicrobial highly absorbent hydroalginate dressing with silver. The dressing is designed to protect from infection, while its unique EasyLIFT® precision film, which prevents adhesion of the dressing to the wound bed, helps minimise trauma to the wound bed and patient pain during dressing change.
ADAPTIC® DIGIT is a double-coiled tubular bandage with non-adherent silicone layer, specifically designed for dressing fingers and toes, which may help save health care professional time and cost due to its unique design and ease of application. The non-adherent layer also reduces pain on dressing change.
In addition, TIELLE® Xtra Comfort Plus, a highly absorbent hydropolymer foam with LiquaLock® system that locks wound fluids in highly exudating wounds, is now available with an even higher absorbency. "We are confident that our innovative technologies will also help healthcare professionals improve the quality of life of their patients in Brazil," said Christine Kerr, Country Manager of Systagenix Brazil. Systagenix’ Brazil operations are now firmly established.
