FSTEC Announces Full Conference Program

Leading Forum for Foodservice Tech Execs Features Many Valuable Sessions

MIAMI--()--A series of exciting speakers and cutting-edge educational sessions will make FSTEC NexGen, being held Sept. 9-11 in Miami, the one foodservice technology conference industry leaders cannot afford to miss.

In addition to speakers including Zac Moffatt, Digital Director of Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, Bill Martin, Chief Information Officer for Royal Caribbean, and Honorio Padrón, a veteran industry technology executive, the conference includes many informative educational sessions and a showcase featuring the latest in foodservice technology solutions.

“FSTEC NexGen is all about sharing which technology is hot today and what is around the corner that will impact foodservice tomorrow,” said FSTEC Chairman Rob Grimes. “This is the one place for the industry to come together and share ideas and solutions to improve efficiencies and performance.”

A panel of leading CIOs will discuss the latest trends on Sunday Sept. 9. Appearing on the session will be Kelly Maddern of Burger King, Jeff Chasney of CKE, Don Zimmerman of Wendy’s and David Matthews of The National Restaurant Association. On Monday morning a panel of leading suppliers will host an interactive session focused on the future of technology in foodservice.

The National Restaurant Association and the Retail Solutions Providers Association will present a bonus session, “Understanding PCI Compliance Before it takes a Bite out of your Foodservice Operation,” on Sunday afternoon. RSPA President & CEO Joe Finizio and NRA CIO & SVP David Matthews will lead the session, which will focus on the basics of PCI compliance and what you need to know to protect yourself, your business and your customers.

A series of exciting panels will be held following two primary educational tracks, “Hot Spots,” which explores technology needed to stay connected to both employees and customers, and “Essentials,” with includes ‘must-know’ subjects ranging from back office and POS systems to digital signage and cloud-based advancements.
