BALA CYNWYD, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rembrandt IP Management, LLC (“Rembrandt”), announced today that Meredith L. Carter has joined the company as Managing Director of Business Development. Carter will help Rembrandt identify opportunities to partner with owners of fundamental patents that have great market value, and assist owners in enforcing their patents against major companies that infringe upon them.
Carter joins Rembrandt from a nationally recognized, full-service intellectual property and business law firm where, as the firm’s Director of Business Development, she successfully identified opportunities for strategic partnerships and helped grow the firm’s client base through new and existing relationships.
While at the firm, Carter represented inventors, emerging growth companies and investors in venture capital and private equity deals and in transactions involving licensing and joint ventures, often involving the protection of intellectual property. Meredith is admitted to practice law in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey and is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law and the University of Delaware.
“Joining Rembrandt is an incredible opportunity at such an exciting time for the company and the IP monetization space,” said Carter. “I look forward to working with this talented and impressive team of professionals to identify and evaluate promising prospects, and to helping patent owners maximize the value of their infringed intellectual property.”
“Meredith’s skills will be an asset to help Rembrandt expand its network, educate the intellectual property community about our new and traditional product offerings, and develop opportunities where Rembrandt IP Management’s patent expertise and significant capital can assist patent owners and law firms,” said Michael Johnson, President of Rembrandt.
