WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A-T Solutions Inc., a global, industry-leading anti- and counterterrorism professional solutions firm headquartered in the Washington area, announced today it has completed delivery of Asymmetric Threat and Tactical Analysis Casebook (ATTAC) ExplorerTM to the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NAVEODTECHDIV). ATTAC Explorer is a new product that dramatically simplifies field incident data sharing and facilitates workflow management to support rapid decision-making in critical situations.
“Our focus is to deliver training and technology solutions that will help support the needs of our nation’s military and first-responder communities,” said Dennis Kelly, president and CEO of A-T Solutions. “ATTAC Explorer is a powerful and easy-to-use tool that enables expeditionary data management and reporting. It is engineered for complex user environments and ensures results that are simple, fast and accurate.”
Under the contract, A-T Solutions will be providing equipment and systems to support ATTAC Explorer implementation including system setup, configuration and field support.
ATTAC products are part of A-T Solutions’ award-winning suite of field data collection and incident scene diagramming tools that have been in use by over 4,500 law enforcement professionals, first responders, homeland security teams and defense forces for more than a decade. ATTAC Explorer is a product that complements A-T Solutions’ award-winning ATTACTM field data reporting platform and that allows analysts to quickly and efficiently ingest ATTAC casebooks and reports into a database for analysis without the need for Internet connectivity.
The development of ATTAC Explorer was made possible by enhancements to the original ATTAC product in 2010, which resulted in the launch of ATTAC 5.0 in 2011. ATTAC 5.0 offers a higher level of productivity, efficiency and accuracy to warfighters and first responders in need of a portable, easy-to-use, in-field data collection tool. The program successfully cleared the FEMA Operational Test Process and received certification for elements of ICS and NIMS compliance.
When originally developed in 2006, ATTAC revolutionized the process of collecting and reporting field data about critical incidents for the U.S. military. The innovative technology solution has also been adopted and deployed in the states by many federal and state law enforcement organizations as well as agencies within the Department of Homeland Security.
Within the last two years, ATTAC and other new A-T Solutions in-field data solutions products have been recognized for outstanding contributions to the national defense and security communities. Most recently, ATTAC 5.0 was named a finalist in the Government Security News Homeland Security Awards Program in the category of Best Security Incident and Event Management Solution. The product was also celebrated as a Stevie “distinguished honoree” in last year’s eighth annual International Business Awards in the category of Best New Product or Service of the Year. In 2010, A-T Solutions was recognized as a finalist in the American Business Awards for Best Overall Company of the Year and New Product or Service of the Year for ATTAC 5.0 and FireScene, a version of ATTAC developed specifically to support the fire management and emergency response community.
