WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A-T Solutions Inc., a global, industry-leading anti- and counterterrorism professional solutions firm headquartered in the Tysons Corner area of Vienna, Va., is part of the BAE Systems winning team that has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity multiple-award contract from the Department of Defense’s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization Operations Support Services.

As a subcontractor to BAE Systems, A-T Solutions will serve as the team lead in weapons technical intelligence and C-IED operations within the Combat Support Operations Area. BAE Systems was selected as one of four awardees for the JIEDDO OPS program, which has a ceiling of $900 million over five years, if all options are exercised. BAE Systems was recently awarded Task Order 1 for Counter-IED Operations Integration Center Training Support, where A-T Solutions will be providing personnel in this collaborative effort.
The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization was established as a deputy secretary of Defense-directed initiative with the mission to reduce the effectiveness and lethality of IEDs to allow freedom of maneuver for joint forces, federal agencies and partner nations in current and future operating environments.
A-T Solutions recently announced it was awarded a task order from the Department of Defense’s Joint IED Defeat Organization to revise its Weapons Technical Intelligence Improvised Explosive Device Handbook and Lexicon. Under the agreement, A-T Solutions will be responsible for revising the WTI Handbook and Family of Lexicons with the latest information related to specific methods and techniques in handling IEDs.
