With just a handful of employees and a couple of planes, Colorado’s hometown airline took to the skies on July 5, 1994, from Denver's old Stapleton Airport. From that small start, the airline with the animals on its tails has spread its wings far and wide – offering service to more than 70 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Frontier now employs 5,000 aviation professionals, operating from its hub at Denver International Airport.
