WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Strayer University is pleased to announce that voting is open for its 120th Anniversary Student Scholarship through the University’s Facebook page.
From now until June 13, Strayer University Facebook fans can log on to www.facebook.com/strayeruniversity to view essays submitted by nominees and vote for their favorite entry. Essays are focused on how a degree from Strayer University will help nominees achieve their professional goals. One vote per person will be allowed during the voting period.
Essays receiving the most online votes will be judged by an academic committee of Strayer University provosts, deans, and faculty. The committee will select three winners to receive up to $20,000 in scholarships each at the end of June.
The scholarship program commemorates Strayer University’s 120th anniversary this year. The University was founded in 1892 and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Strayer University graduates earn degrees in programs ranging from business administration and accounting to education and information systems. Every year, Strayer University educates roughly 50,000 students in its undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
