NCI Awarded $5.4 Million Department of Justice ITSS-4 Task Order

RESTON, Va.--()--NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today that it has been awarded a competitive task order valued at approximately $5.4 million under its Department of Justice (DOJ) IT Support Services (ITSS-4) contract. The period of performance is one base year, plus four optional years, and represents new business for NCI.

Under the task order, NCI is providing operations and maintenance support to for the Department’s Justice Security Tracking and Adjudication Record System (JSTARS). Specifically, NCI provides program management support, application-level system administration, database administration, external audit support and certification and accreditation (C&A) support. Additionally, NCI is providing the service desk support to the JSTARS user community, which includes 38 out of a total of 39 DOJ components at this time. NCI works closely with the applications development team and personnel security management to document, design, develop, and deploy new enhancements to JSTARS.
