ZWANENBURG, Netherlands & BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AEG Power Solutions announced today that its Chinese subsidiary has signed a contract with SINOPEC LPEC (Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company) to provide all power supply equipment for the Atyrau refinery they are building in Kazakhstan. AEG PS will provide the back-up system, integrating 44 new modular UPS Protect 8 systems, as well as Protect RCS industrial chargers. The quality of AEG Power Solutions' products and engineering as well its expertise in powering complex applications with high efficiency and high reliability solutions were the determining factors in this decision.
SINOPEC LPEC is a high-tech company which operates as an EPC contractor
and a technology licensor for Chinese energy and petrochemical
industries. Founded in 1956 as Fushun Petroleum Design Institute and
Luoyang Petroleum Refining Design Institute of the China Petroleum
Ministry, SINOPEC LPEC is currently the leading company for refinery
design and oil and gas engineering in China. It is now developing into

petroleum refining processes, and equipment and licensing provision.
