CHARLESTON, S.C. & SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blackbaud, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLKB) and TechSoup today announced that they are expanding their existing partnership through new webinars, donations and discounts, and with an additional focus on the technology needs of small nonprofits. The organizations launched a survey at www.blackbaud.com/techsurvey seeking feedback from small nonprofits with annual revenues of less than $1 million on their technology needs. The survey will remain open until April 25 and results will be available this summer.
“Blackbaud has been a longtime, valued supporter of TechSoup through our product donation program,” said Gayle Carpentier, TechSoup Global’s chief business development officer. “This expanded partnership will bring additional donations of nonprofit expertise and refurbished computers to provide nonprofits with the tools and knowledge they need to further their missions.”
TechSoup is sponsoring a webinar series, produced by Blackbaud, and co-presented by Blackbaud partner Constant Contact, entitled “Putting the Puzzle Pieces Together.” The series offers sessions on social media, marketing, communications and fundraising topics. For more information, to register, or to watch recorded webinars, visit www.blackbaud.com/puzzle.
“We are proud to deepen our partnership with TechSoup Global, a leader in enabling nonprofits with technology,” said Mary Pat Donnellon, Blackbaud’s vice president of marketing. “Together, there is so much we can do for nonprofits – this is just a start.”
Blackbaud will also participate in TechSoup’s Refurbished Computer Initiative (RCI) Program, donating hardware to nonprofits. The first nationwide refurbishing program geared strictly to nonprofits, RCI also provides an environmentally friendly alternative to used equipment disposal.
Since 2001, Blackbaud has participated in the TechSoup Stock product donation program, and now provides special member offers for products including eTapestry®, BlackbaudNow™, and NOZA™. To find out more, visit www.techsoup.org.
