Securitas (STO:SECUB) has been selected by Swedavia to continue as the security services provider of guarding and security screening at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, starting as of June 1, 2012. The total value of the contract is more than MSEK 600 over a three year period.
Securitas is since February 1, 2007, the security services provider of guarding and security screening at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The current contract comprises security services at both Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Bromma Stockholm Airport. As of June 1, 2012, there will be separate contracts for the two airports.
The new contract is over a three year period, with a possible extension with up to two years. The total value of the contract is more than MSEK 600 over the first three year period, which makes it the largest security services contract in Scandinavia.
