DUBLIN--()--

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/8bd139b6/insitu_synthesis) has announced the addition of John Wiley and Sons Ltd's new book "In-situ Synthesis of Polymer Nanocomposites" to their offering.

This book familiarizes readers with the proven strategies -- as well as the pitfalls -- involved in successfully synthesizing the different types of composites together with their various demands concerning the processing conditions and other influencing factors.

Following an overview of the synthesis methodologies, the text goes on to discuss the most relevant polymer materials, including polyamides, polyolefines, polyacrylates, polyethylenes, polyurethanes, polyesters and polyepoxides.

Key Topics Covered:

- In-situ Synthesis of Polymer Nanocomposites

- Polyamide Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization

- Polyolefin-Clay Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization

- Gas-Phase-Assisted Surface Polymerization and Thereby Preparation of Polymer Nanocomposites

- PET Clay Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization

- Control of Filler Phase Dispersion in Bio-Based Nanocomposites by In-situ Reactive Polymerization

- Polyurethane Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization Approach and Their Properties

- In-situ Synthesis and Properties of Epoxy Nanocomposites

- Unsaturated Polyester-Montmorillonite Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization

- Polymer Clay Nanocomposites by In-situ Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization

- Polybutadiene Clay Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization

- P3HT-MWNT Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization and Their Properties

- Polystyrene-Montmorillonite Nanocomposites by In-situ Polymerization and Their Properties
