Roundtable for Reporters – Biofuels for National Security

WHAT:

The U.S. Department of Defense is the world’s largest energy user and is as vulnerable to high fuel prices as every other U.S. consumer. The Biotechnology Industry Organization and the American Security Project are hosting this teleconference for reporters, with former military officers to discuss the national security risks of continued reliance on foreign oil; and advanced biofuel companies to discuss progress in developing drop-in fuels for military ships and planes.
