Blue Shield of California received the Veracode Game Changer Award, which is presented to the organization that changed its application security practices most significantly. Cox Communications accepted the Veracode Bridge Builder Award, recognizing the organization for exceptional teamwork across security and development teams. Presented during the RSA® 2012 Conference, the awards recognize those software vendors, enterprises and government agencies that take advantage of the Veracode platform to drive results across their application security programs in innovative, forward-looking ways.

Each year, members of the Veracode sales, customer support and services teams nominate customers based on their knowledge of the organizations’ application security programs. Customers are eligible to be nominated in more than one category. A judging panel composed of three Veracode executives review all nominations and select the winning company for each category based on the quality of the nomination, the completeness of the nominee’s application security program, and the overall utilization of the Veracode platform to secure its applications.
