Western Union Expands Its Online Business Payments Service in Europe

Businesses in Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and Sweden Now Better Able to Compete Globally via Western Union Business Solutions

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--()--The Western Union Company (NYSE:WU), a leader in global payment services, today announced that it has expanded its online payments service for business clients wishing to make cross border bank-to-bank payments from Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and Sweden.

Businesses in these countries make payments globally for imports of machinery and equipment, chemicals, fuels, gems, and foodstuffs among other goods.

The Western Union Business Solutions online service enables clients to make and manage international payments 24 hours a day, seven days a week from their computers. Businesses can make payments in more than 140 currencies, check real-time exchange rates and fees, and receive live customer support. The platform allows payers to lock in exchange rates and gives payees certainty on the precise amount expected.
