WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arkieva (www.arkieva.com), designer and supplier of a full suite of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software tools, announced today the appointments of three new directors to its recently reorganized management team.
Peter Murphy is the newly named director, software implementation. He has more than 10 years of experience managing the implementation of supply chain decision support tools and has worked on some of Arkieva’s largest accounts. In his new position he will manage the company’s software implementation team and have overall responsibility for all new implementations from start to finish.
Murphy received a B.S. in Mathematics from SUNY College at Buffalo. He also has an M.S. in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Farah Marasigan is named director, optimization and leads the Arkieva Operations Research and Optimization Practice. In her new role she is responsible for identifying and integrating new supply chain technology into the Arkieva software product line.
Prior to joining Arkieva, Dr. Marasigan was a consultant at Talus Solutions, which later became an integral part of Manugistics. She earned an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of South Carolina, as well as a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of the Philippines. She completed her doctoral work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned a Ph.D. in Operations Research.
Georgi Genov, a company veteran, is promoted to director, software development at Arkieva. In his new role he leads the software development team and is responsible for the development and delivery of the entire product line and leads software development for new products. Genov began his career with Arkieva in 1999 and has been instrumental in software development programs for manufacturing clients both in the United States and in Europe.
He holds a B.S. in physics from the University of Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria.
