March 20 Tel Aviv Seminar to Spotlight US Business Opportunities for Israeli Infrastructure Security Companies

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va.--()--The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) and its Israel representative, DS Apex Mergers and Acquisitions, will present a business seminar entitled “Infrastructure Security: Opportunities in the US Market” in Tel Aviv on March 20, 2012.

The seminar at the Hotel Dan Tel Aviv will outline opportunities in US government and commercial sectors for Israeli companies that develop and market infrastructure technologies and services. The FCEDA is presenting the event with the Fox Rothschild law firm and the Israel-America Chamber of Commerce.

Nissim Atias, general manager of Corning MobileAccess, which is part of Corning Incorporated’s (NYSE: GLW) Telecommunications segment and which develops distributed antenna systems for pervasive wireless coverage inside buildings, will deliver a keynote address on his company’s success in the US market. Uzi Hanuni, CEO of MaxTech Networks, which develops ad-hoc wireless mobile networks, will present a case study of how his Israel-based firm expanded into the US market via a location in Fairfax County.

The event also will include a roundtable discussion about the US market trends and opportunities. It will be moderated by a representative of Fox Rothschild and feature executives of Corning MobileAccess, MaxTech Networks, Product Savvy Consulting, the Virginia Israel Advisory Board and the FCEDA.

Jonathan Heimer, senior principal at the US Commercial Service in Tel Aviv, will discuss market conditions in the US and opportunities for Israeli companies. Yair Ephrati, director of the FCEDA office in Israel, will give an overview of Fairfax County and its business climate.
