THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Energy crop company Ceres, Inc. (“Ceres”) announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at $13.00 per share. The common stock is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on February 22, 2012 under the ticker symbol “CERE.” The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock from Ceres. The offering is expected to close on February 27, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions. All shares are being offered by Ceres.
