WHAT:

Frost protection from sprinklers is a proven method to help protect crops from damages caused by freezing weather. For areas prone to freeze events, installing and operating a sprinkler system designed for frost protection can be the difference in having a crop at harvest time.
 

Presented in partnership by Rain Bird Agri-products and Wyatt Irrigation, Dr. David Zoldoske, director of the Center for Irrigation Technology (CIT), California State University, Fresno will examine the principles and general requirements of the two different methods of frost protection as well as present his research-based findings on the benefits of frost protection using sprinklers.

 
The event is free and open to anyone interested in listening to Dr. Zoldoske lead a discussion on proven methods for protecting valuable crops from devastating frost events.
