ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IHS, the leading global source of information and analysis, today announced the appointment of Arshad Matin as executive vice president, effective immediately. In this newly created role, Matin will join the IHS executive team to lead the company’s Information and Insight Operations and the Research and Analysis organization to leverage the combined expertise of these teams to create even more market-leading products and services for IHS global customers.
“Arshad brings a very successful track record of running both public and private companies to this critical new role,” said Scott Key, IHS president and chief operating officer, to whom Matin will report. “He will work closely with a large and diverse global organization of IHS colleagues to realize the potential of our combined capabilities as we seamlessly connect information and insight with our research and analysis expertise to enhance how we work and develop new offerings for clients around the world.”
