Installation at the Johns Hopkins Hospital to Be Completed in the First Half of 2012

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--()--KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc., a leader in advanced endoscopy and operating room integration solutions, is pleased to announce that preparations are being finalized for installation of the 3000th OR1® integrated operating room, which will take place at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. The new facilities will combine a range of state-of-the-art surgical technologies, as well as systems for image and data management. The first OR1® fully integrated operation rooms are expected to be installed by the end of this year, with the remaining rooms to be completed by the first half of 2012. A total of 28 ORs will be installed to complete the project.
