PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Comcast Cable, the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, announced today that Raúl Valentín has joined the company as Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Valentín, who started his new position Dec. 5, reports to Grace Killelea, Senior Vice President of Talent.
Valentín will be responsible for enterprise-wide talent acquisition operations and strategy for the cable division, and he will provide leadership in all matters regarding talent planning, recruitment, assessment, interviewing, on-boarding and retention. Additionally, he will be charged with driving best hiring practices throughout the cable organization and with enhancing the candidate experience

Valentín is seasoned human resources professional with 25 years of successful experience in leading HR teams to accomplish business-focused results. He is highly regarded for his leadership and expertise in building strong, results-oriented teams and for creating innovative solutions that enhance organizational success.
Valentín joins Comcast from Covance Inc., a biopharmaceutical development services company based in Princeton, N.J., where he was Vice President of Global Recruitment and Rewards. In this role, he led all talent acquisition processes, global recruitment and rewards functions including; executive recruitment, search, selection, executive compensation, compensation, benefits, relocation, immigration and expatriation.
Prior to joining Covance in 1996, he held HR and recruitment positions with Frito-Lay, and R. H. Macy and Company. He earned his bachelor of arts in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania.
