Super Scale events to spotlight Energy Saving & Smart Tech

TAIPEI, Taiwan--()--With the signing on of a record number of 1,200 exhibitors to take 3,000 show booths, Taipei AMPA and AutoTronics Taipei is warming up to welcome a record 56,000 international and domestic trade visitors.

These duo trade exhibitions, vital events in the global industry, jointly unfold at NANKANG Exhibition Hall and TWTC Hall 1, Area A on April 11-14.

The magnitude of these trade shows, Taipei AMPA (Taipei Int’l Auto Parts & Accessories Show), organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), and AutoTronics Taipei (Taipei Int’l Automobile Electronics Show), organized by TAITRA and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), offer buyers maximized selection and quality and help to periscope the hottest motoring solutions which this spring will focus on energy saving and smart technology.

Strong demand expands show to HALL 1 for record scale & size, over 3,000 booths will be used!

The success of Taipei AMPA and AutoTronics has overwhelmed all available space at the NANKANG Hall to the extent that last year there were hundreds of exhibitors left on the waiting list. And that intensive growth has brought the show to expand once more.

To accommodate more exhibitors, 300 additional booths are being set up at TWTC Hall 1 (Area A). Since opening the space there has been vigorous response for that new space which is rapidly filling up.

In fact, almost any auto part you can dream of will likely be found at this show. Some famous Taiwan exhibitors include TYC BROTHER, DEPO, EAGLE EYES, GORDON AUTO BODY PARTS, JUST AUTO LIGHTING, SONAR AUTO PARTS, MOBILETRON ELECTRONIC, TUNG THIH ELECTRONIC (TTE) and WHETRON ELECTRONIC.

Meanwhile, nearly 160 international exhibitors from Japan, US, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and China have also registered for the fairs.

Taiwan’s parts industry has managed to maintain constant growth and is expected to keep growing!

Taiwan’s automotive parts industry is renowned for its versatility in delivering a full spectrum of products at varying amounts to match production conditions across the global market. Despite global fluctuations in whole vehicle sales in the past few years, Taiwan’s parts industry has managed to maintain constant growth for the past few years. Last year Taiwan trade exports value grew 23% on the previous year, to US$5.7 billion. Total exports value from January to August, 2011 reached NT$120 billion (around US$4 billion), increasing by 6% year-on-year. Taiwan’s parts industry has managed to maintain constant growth and is expected to keep growing! Taiwan also holds number-1 place, with 70% market share in auto lamps and 85% market share for collision replacement parts. Some famous exhibitors producing auto lamps include TYC BROTHER, DEPO, EAGLE EYES, SONAR AUTO PARTS, and AU-LITE LIGHTING; the ones producing collision replacement parts are GORDON AUTO BODY PARTS, GUU YIH PLASTICS, and FINE ASIA. All of them are already registered for the fairs.

PERISCOPING clearest vision of innovative energy savers & smart tech

Next spring show opens a vast selection of energy-saving LED automobile lights, new materials, the latest in engine parts, suspension systems, transmission systems, brake systems, tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), maintenance equipment, pneumatic tools, tires and rims, and automobile accessories.

Four new exhibition areas including “Tuning & Restyling,” “Engine Parts,” “Chassis System” and “Power Train System” are to be set up for more exhibits. It is projected that the record size, scale and selection will attract more than 56,000 domestic and international trade visitors to seek every product, concept and prospect on wheels!

Meanwhile, Taiwan manufacturers have been plugging in their core advantages build up from decades of massive ICT growth. Putting IT on wheels has become their forte as they continually churn out products for more intelligent vehicle safety and energy-saving technologies.

Such leading firms leading the way in automobile electronic components include TUNG THIH ELECTRONIC (TTE), E-LEAD ELECTRONIC, MOBILETRON ELECTRONIC, PHOTIC ELECTRONICS, and GOOD WILL INSTRUMENT, who have been pioneers in the development of automobile electronics parts and systems, automotive semiconductors, testing equipment and services, automobile video systems and automobile security systems. Aiming for innovation and perfection, Taiwanese automotive electronics manufacturers are expected to continue to lead the pack.

A wide range of events take place during the exhibition. Some of these are the Pre-Show Press Conference, Opening Ceremony and Innovation Awards Ceremony, the Welcome Reception, One-On-One Procurement Meetings, a seminar on procurement policies and a number of related industry presentations.

Four Shows link up to cover every facet of motoring

Even more opportunities will open for the trade since Taipei AMPA and AutoTronics Taipei coincide with Motorcycle Taiwan (The 7th Taiwan Intl Motorcycle Show) and EV Taiwan (the 2nd Taiwan Intl Electric Vehicles Show) that unfold April 12-15 at TWTC Hall 1, Areas B, C & D. The latter two events profile hybrid vehicles, electric motorcycles, battery, battery-driven electric vehicles, imported motorcycles and related components.

Exhibitors at these events include such leading firms as Pihsiang Electric Vehicle Mfg, Chroma ATE, Fukuta Elec. & Mach, and Aeon Motor.

With 1,500 exhibitors registered and 3,700 booths installed, the four shows are going all out to offer Asia’s largest venue for the automobile and motor industries.
