Accel Networks Expands Fixed Cellular Broadband Partner Program To Enable Faster Adoption of Cloud Computing

Seeking Leading Application Providers in Oil/Gas, Healthcare, Financial Services That Require Secure, Dedicated Communications

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--()--Accel Networks, a leading provider of managed fixed cellular broadband services for business, today announced that it is expanding its channel partner program to include Application Providers, VARs and Consultants in industries and applications where fixed wireless is the only logical choice for broadband network connectivity. The initial targeted industries are: oil/gas, healthcare and financial services.

In exchange for its partners bringing expertise, market reach and volume commitments, Accel said it will provide training, sales and marketing support, customized management tools and limited exclusivity in these markets. Market-Centric Partners will provide the required customized implementation for their specific vertical and management processes. Sample applications may include cloud-based pipeline monitoring services, electronic medical record solutions, and temporary tax preparation and brokerage services for existing and new locations.

Beyond primary network connectivity services, Accel also markets the following services entirely through its existing channel partners to a variety of industries, most notably retail:

  • Temporary network services for construction or new store openings prior to the installation of a wired solution
  • Wireline Fallout for remote sites that can’t be reached with a wired solution
  • Back up network services for existing DSL primary networks
  • Primary network services

The primary driver behind the expanded partner program is that many application providers, VARs and consultants are helping business organizations move to cloud computing, which requires a cost-effective and reliable means for customers to communicate to those applications. In many cases, providers may require a secure and separate means of communications from primary wired services for regulatory purposes or wired services may simply not be practical.

“Accel has prospered providing its services to retailers by truly understanding the needs of retail enterprises,” said Mark Gianinni, CEO of Accel. “We believe that working with partners that best understand the specialized needs of enterprises in these targeted markets is the way to continue that success. Cloud computing via fixed wireless will enable flexibility, efficiency and growth in these market segments by providing consistent, reliable and robust RF links. Through its patent-pending technology and proprietary process, Accel is uniquely qualified to take the lead in this movement.”

Current Partner Program

Accel’s current partner program includes the following:

Wholesale Partners/Reseller/Aggregators: Accel provides wholesale services to some of the largest aggregators in the country. These partners want to provide their clients with the best possible service, coverage and experience.

Master Agents | Sub Agents: Agent portfolios are becoming more technologically advanced. For agencies to stay competitive, they need to include fixed wireless in their portfolios. Accel’s program offers the first residual compensation program with the benefit of an evergreen contract and no monthly commitments.

Parties interested in any of Accel’s partner programs should contact Jonathan Forrest, vice president of Business Development at jforest@accel-networks.com.
