BTIG Expands Equity Trading Presence

New hires enhance experience, expertise of BTIG’s equities desk

NEW YORK--()--BTIG LLC, a global financial services firm that specializes in institutional trading and brokerage services, continues to expand its equity trading business with the recent hires of Francis Heine, Christopher Sula, Phil Dauber, and Joseph Fragala.

Francis Heine joins BTIG as Managing Director and International Equities Sales Trader. Heine will work out of BTIG’s Red Bank, New Jersey office. Heine is a Wall Street veteran, with 27 years of experience at Morgan Stanley. For the last 22 years, he was a sales trader covering global institutions for North and South American equities.

Christopher Sula joins BTIG in New York as Managing Director and U.S. Equities Trader. Sula is a veteran trader with 16 years experience, having previously served as Head of Cash Trading for Knight Securities.

Phil Dauber joins BTIG in New York as Managing Director and U.S. Equities Trader. Dauber brings 25 years of trading experience to BTIG. Prior to BTIG, Dauber was a Senior Trader at J.P. Morgan, Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers.

Joseph Fragala joins BTIG in New York as Senior Vice President and Institutional Sales Trader. Fragala has over 15 years experience on Wall Street, most recently as an equity sales trader for BGC Partners. Prior to BGC, Fragala worked for Pali Capital, ING Barings and ABN Amro.

BTIG has taken opportunistic steps recently to continue to build its global franchise, including hiring additional senior professionals in its London, Hong Kong and Australian offices, launching Outsource Trading in Asia and expanding its Global Research and Corporate Access divisions.
