LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Survival One, part of the Survitec Group of companies, is delighted to announce that it has concluded a framework agreement with the Royal Dutch Rescue Organisation (KNRM) to design, manufacture and service a fully integrated Constant Wear Immersion Suit package. The initial order consists of 750 new suits to replace KNRM’s legacy system. KNRM will start to take delivery of the new systems in early 2012.
Teaming up with Netherlands based Poseidon B.V. Survival One has worked closely with KNRM throughout the product development phase to create a comprehensive range of top quality equipment. In addition the on-going requirements of the package will include a robust maintenance programme.

The new systems will be used by Search and Rescue crew members providing instant response to emergency situations on and in the water. There are 42 rescue stations covering the entire Dutch Coast and over 1100 voluntary rescuers providing a 24/7 professional rescue operation.
