ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Foreground Security today announced that Anthony Bargar, Executive Vice President for Cyber Security Solutions and NASDAQ OMX consultant, will present methods for safeguarding systems against and responding to sophisticated attacks at the NASDAQ OMX Security Threats and Targeted Countermeasures Seminar on Tuesday, November 15 in Stockholm, Sweden.
During the seminar, Mr. Bargar will discuss network “cyber” security threats and how companies can effectively apply the countermeasures needed to execute a successful and cyber resilient response. He will discuss critical information infrastructure protection and defense and the shared responsibility globally between the public and private sectors.
Mr. Anthony Bargar has 13 years of experience in providing cyber security and information assurance to the US Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence community. He previously served as Senior Policy and Strategy Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber, Identity and Information Assurance within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Bargar implemented and oversaw the DoD CISO responsibilities for the Federal Information Security Management (FISMA) and Privacy Act. He was also the DoD senior representative to the White House for National Cyber Incident Response & Information Sharing.
