PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Judge Group, a leading professional services firm offering technology consulting, staffing solutions and corporate training, today announced that CEO and Founder Martin E. Judge, Jr. was named the inaugural recipient of the NPower Pennsylvania Community Impact Award.
The award was established this year to recognize the individual who had the greatest positive impact on the success of the NPower PA organization and the extended non-profit community throughout the Delaware Valley. It is the first award created to honor someone outside the organization.
According to Patrick Callihan, executive director of NPower PA, it was a unanimous decision by the 16 members of the NPower Board of Directors to honor Judge as the first recipient. The board includes senior executives from IBM, SAP, Accenture, Deloitte Consulting, Sunoco and Microsoft, among others.
The Judge Group has been a top NPower sponsor for the past four years and Judge has personally contributed for the past five years.
“Marty is a very generous supporter of our organization,” said Callihan. “And I felt that he had the most significant impact on our work this year. Beyond just financial resources, Marty helps provide NPower with the talented people and committed volunteers who contribute to the success of our community’s nonprofits.”
Judge received his award at the Seventh Annual NPower PA Technology Awards Luncheon in Philadelphia on Nov. 4.
“Over the past 41 years since starting The Judge Group, I’ve seen firsthand how important technology is to running a great company,” said Judge. “I’m very fortunate to be able to help other companies enrich the lives of the communities they serve, and I have tremendous respect for everyone involved with NPower. It’s a true honor to be recognized by such a dedicated group of individuals.”
Last year the Annual Technology Luncheon raised over $200,000 to support the technology needs of over 400 nonprofits in the Delaware Valley.
