HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--()--Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading global provider of communications solutions and services, has launched its new Tempo Enterprise Media Appliance, designed to deliver live and on-demand content to desktops, mobile devices and televisions.

The appliance works in conjunction with the Tempo Enterprise Media Platform, offering effective solutions for media networks using Corporate WAN, Internet, Satellite, or any hybrid delivery combination. The appliance includes enhanced security, scalable storage, 802.11N WiFi, and full DVR functionality. This innovative product addresses the growing market demand of enterprises to deliver live and on-demand content over diverse network architectures.

The introduction coincides with the release of version 2.2 of the Tempo Enterprise Media Platform.
