SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sorenson Media today announced that it was named “Best Internet Company” at TechAmerica San Diego’s 18th Annual High Tech Awards, held Oct. 28, 2011. Hosted by TechAmerica, the nation’s leading technology industry trade association, the event celebrated the achievements of technology companies in the greater San Diego area and was attended by over 500 professionals.
Sorenson Media CEO Peter Csathy also participated earlier this year in the nationally recognized TechAmerica Foundation CLOUD2 Commission, which unveiled a highly anticipated cloud computing roadmap to President Obama and his Administration. The company was the only video workflow solutions provider invited to participate on the CLOUD2 commission.
