The closure of the Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe transaction last August has helped in attracting additional talent and allowed for rapid global expansion. The company’s most recent significant international milestones include receiving CE mark approval for its RAVINE® Lateral Access System with initial cases completed in Europe and Australia; the introduction of its MESA® Spinal Systems and SERENGETI® Minimally Invasive Retractor System in Chile; and the introduction of its EVEREST™ Degenerative Spinal System in Europe. These successes build on earlier international advances, including receiving PMDA approval for the MESA Spinal System in Japan and the opening of dedicated K2M offices in the United Kingdom and Germany, supporting existing international activities in Austria, Greece, and Spain. Additionally, K2M is experiencing rapid growth of complex spine and minimally invasive market share in Australia.
