Message Systems CMO, Dave Lewis, to Speak at Online Trust Forum 2011 on Building Customer Loyalty Through Message Convergence

Company offers free whitepaper on architecting the ideal environment for secure messaging

--()--Message Systems:

WHAT: Dave Lewis, Chief Marketing Officer of Message Systems, will speak at the Online Trust Alliance’s annual Forum on the topic of building customer loyalty through message convergence. The session will highlight changing consumer behaviors and how they are changing the way brands communicate with them. Of chief importance is the need to build brand-consumer trust, with a large part of that rooted in “customer empowerment.”

The OTA’s Online Trust Forum is an event designed to bring together an international audience of business, industry and government leaders, executives and practitioners. Forum attendees share, learn and collaborate on how to create an alignment between consumer security and privacy concerns while reinforcing their brand value.

Session: Consumer Loyalty vs. Attention Deficit - How relevance and personalization can be the key to loyalty and promoting brand value and trust.

Hear from the experts on the latest trends in personalization, while providing users choice and control of their data. In today's “short burst and multi-device” society, gaining consumer attention and building your online brand is increasingly a challenge. This session will explore best practices and how privacy and security can add to your brand value proposition.

WHY: Dave Lewis’ panel will speak to behavioral changes among consumers and where technology to engage with them is headed. Specifically, Dave will dive into where marketing messaging is headed, particularly with regard to multi-channel integration. Attendees will gain insight into the psyche of the consumer and leave with a firmer understanding of how to identify, source and build those relationships.

With the Forum theme of “Realizing the Promise of Trust,” Message Systems’ presence at the show underscores the important relationship between data security and consumer trust. Only the brands with a good understanding of the link between information security and brand loyalty will be able to grow their customer base and accomplish more with them.

To more fully explore these points, the company has also penned a white paper titled “Safeguarding Message Streams for Enterprises and Email Service Providers” that dives deeper into new approaches to creating the ideal, safe environment for secure messaging. In this white paper, Mike Hillyer, Director of Solution Engineering, Message Systems, and Dave Lewis, CMO, Message Systems, present seven principles for architecting a safe messaging environment. The authors then describe how to put these principles into action to protect both inbound and outbound messaging streams. The paper is available for free download here.
