MEGA Customer Named Finalist for British Quality Foundation Achievement Awards

The Co-operative Banking Group selected for process improvement success

LONDON--()--The Co-operative Banking Group has been named as a finalist for the British Quality Foundation (BQF) Awards 2011 for its process improvement accomplishments. The selection was made based on changes The Co-operative Banking Group has made in the organisation to deliver customer service enhancements.

The MEGA Suite was adopted by The Co-operative Banking Group for these efforts because of the software’s industry-leading capabilities in helping organisations optimise business performance.

The Co-operative Banking Group is one of three finalists in the process improvement category; the winners will be announced October 13 at a London ceremony attended by BQF’s patron, HRH the Princess Royal.

The Co-operative Banking Group is part of the Co-operative Group, the UK’s largest consumer co-operative, with more than 20 million customers and business interests in financial services, food, travel, pharmacy and funeral care. The Co-operative Banking Group provides financial products and services ranging from daily retail banking to corporate lending and payments to insurance, investments, and pensions.

When The Co-operative Banking Group sought to improve customer experience and reduce costs, it focused on end-to-end process reviews and delivering service enhancements. The MEGA Suite was a major part of the initiative; it was selected by The Co-operative Banking Group to be used in developing the bank’s business and process architecture strategy.

The MEGA Suite helps companies develop and deploy a methodology and standards so that every group can communicate using the same information. It provides a range of capabilities to assist companies in business architecture (BA), enterprise architecture (EA), business process analysis (BPA), IT planning, and enterprise governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).

The BQF Achievement Award is an annual award recognizing UK-based companies for role model activity in customer satisfaction, leadership, sustainable future, and process improvement. The BQF award supports innovation and leadership. BQF is a non-profit, independent organisation.
