BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Satcon Technology Corporation® (NASDAQ CM: SATC), a leading provider of utility-scale power conversion solutions for the renewable energy market, announced that it signed a Master Service Agreement with Borrego Solar to provide 35 megawatts (MW) of industry leading utility-ready solar power solutions.

As part of this agreement, Borrego Solar will utilize the entire Satcon solution portfolio including PowerGate® Plus, the world’s most widely deployed utility-ready solution; Satcon Solstice®, the industry’s first complete system solution for utility-scale solar; Satcon Equinox™, the next generation inverter solution with 98.5% efficiency and industry leading thermal operating range; and Satcon Prism Platform™, a fully integrated multi-megawatt medium voltage (MV) solution optimized for utility-scale PV installations. All of Satcon’s solutions include advanced utility-ready features to enable simplified grid interconnection and can be easily integrated into SCADA systems through standardized communication interfaces.
