Context Optional Among First to Integrate New Facebook Insights API For Marketers

Creates Industry-Leading Analytics for Measuring the Value of Social Marketing

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Context Optional, a leader in social media management solutions and an Efficient Frontier company, today announced the integration of Facebook’s new Page Insights API into its Social Marketing Suite. Context Optional is one of the first companies to integrate this Facebook API into its Page management product. The announcement of Facebook Page Insights and Context Optional’s collaboration with the new API represents a shift in how marketers should approach their Facebook presence by tying their Page presence to engagement and reach.

“We’re pleased to be working closely with Facebook to continuously redefine brand marketers’ social presence,” said Kevin Barenblat, CEO of Context Optional. “Our industry-leading Analytics module takes another step forward by integrating with Facebook’s new Page Insights to provide the industry’s deepest view into audience engagement and total potential reach.”

Facebook’s new metrics on story creation and engagement are important measurements that will be integrated into Context Optional’s comprehensive Analytics module. The updates will enable marketers to discover which publishing and ad strategies on Facebook are creating the most engagement and growth. The new Context Optional solution integrates Facebook Page Insights’ reach metrics with Context Optional’s existing industry-leading Post Analytics and industry benchmarking. Marketers can now draw direct correlations between posts, ads, and Page performance to implement strategies that increase engagement and maximize reach.

Context Optional will be introducing two new tabs in their existing Page Stats function -- Total Reach and People Talking About This. Total Reach will calculate reach factor and break out organic, viral and paid impressions and overlay post and ad data. People Talking About This will calculate the number of users who have created a story by liking, sharing, commenting, linking and posting and the number of stories created by them. Context Optional’s existing Post Analytics will be enhanced with the People Talking About This metric and will also break out the reach factor by organic, viral or paid media.
