WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, FreedomWorks PAC officially endorsed Don Stenberg in the Nebraska Senate race as the clear choice for limited government voters who want to defeat Ben Nelson.
Through personal meetings with Don Stenberg, a detailed look at his record and, most importantly, from input from our members and allies in Nebraska, FreedomWorks PAC believes Don Stenberg is the best candidate for those who want to protect the Constitution and who want a Senator who will fight on behalf of taxpayers against runaway government spending.
“Over the past few months we have been speaking with our members and allies in Nebraska and two things are clear: they are going to work hard to beat Ben Nelson, and they want Don Stenberg to be their next Senator,” said Max Pappas, Executive Director of FreedomWorks PAC.

Nebraskans told us ‘we can trust him’, he ‘says what he means and does it’ and that ‘Don Stenberg has always been a true conservative’. Nebraskans described Stenberg to us as ‘tea party-minded before we had tea parties’ and noted ‘based on his record and life…he is a constitutionalist,’” continued Pappas.
Stenberg’s supporters have no doubt about what they are getting with him neither do we. He has always been a reliable, consistent proponent of limited government, and he proved his commitment to fiscal responsibility as Nebraska’s Attorney General and later as Treasurer. He will be a powerful vote in the Senate on behalf of core limited government issues, and his leadership in combating the big government agenda of the liberal establishment will be critical to FreedomWorks’ overarching mission to “Take America Back” on behalf of freedom. As an early signer of the Contract from America, a list of policy priorities generated by the votes of hundreds of thousands of tea party activists across the country, Stenberg continues to show that he will stand up and fight for free markets, constitutionally limited government, and fiscal responsibility.
