Hans Sandberg, Senior Vice President General Counsel for Atlas Copco AB (STO:ATCOA)(STO:ATCOB) and member of Group Management, has decided to retire from his position at the end of 2011, after 36 years with the company.
“Hans has been a great asset to Atlas Copco during his many years of service” says Ronnie Leten, President and CEO of the Group. “From his work in the early days, setting up our company structure in Asia, to his strong current focus on enforcing business ethics and anti-corruption, he has contributed invaluably to Atlas Copco’s development. Hans Sandberg joined Atlas Copco in 1975 as Corporate Counsel and was appointed General Counsel for Atlas Copco North America Inc. in 1980. He has held his current position since 1984 and has been a member of Group Management since 1989. Hans Sandberg has been Secretary of the Board of Directors for Atlas Copco AB since 1991.
