Cherokee Inc. Announces First Annual “Cherokee Experience” Analyst/Investor Day on September 22nd in Minneapolis, MN

VAN NUYS, Calif.--()--Cherokee Inc. (NASDAQ: CHKE), a leading innovator and global marketer of fashion and lifestyle brands it owns and represents in multiple consumer product categories and sectors around the world, announced today the date and location for its First Annual “Cherokee Experience” Analyst/Investor Day being held on September 22, 2011 in Minneapolis, MN.

This corporate event will be open to industry and investment analysts, current and prospective shareholders, as well as the media. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. CT to approximately 11:00 a.m. CT and attendance will be through invitation. The brand integration space will showcase the Company’s retail platform in a 7,000 square foot loft building that has been retrofitted to provide a unique “Cherokee Experience.” Attendees will be given a private tour led by Chief Executive Officer Henry Stupp, in which they will preview the Company’s future vision for the brand, including vastly expanded product categories, new designs, full sample development, in-store innovations that address changing consumer purchasing behavior, two-way communication employing new technology, in-store and external marketing, and social and digital media innovations. The experience will feature Women’s, Men’s, Boys’, Girls’, Newborn, Infant, Footwear, and Home product assortments. Overall, approximately 2,000 items were produced to showcase at the “Experience.”
