NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) and Pepperidge Farm executives will be joined by Connecticut state officials and Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia to kick off the construction of a 34,000-square-foot innovation center. The ceremony will be held in Norwalk on Monday, Sept, 12, 2011.
Campbell plans to invest $30 million in the project, reflecting its commitment to support continued growth and innovation in its Global Baking and Snacking portfolio, the company’s second-largest reporting segment, which includes both Pepperidge Farm and Arnott’s Biscuits in Asia Pacific.
