LOS GATOS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Audible Magic, the widely acknowledged leader in automated content recognition (ACR) technologies, today announced that it will demonstrate several new ACR solutions for Smart TVs and companion screen devices at the International Broadcasting Convention’s (IBC) 2011 conference and exhibition in Amsterdam between September 9 and 13. Available at IBC in Hall 13, Booth13-384, representatives from the company will demonstrate the new solutions in such areas as:
- Social TV
- TV Ad Response
- Media Synchronization
- Content Discovery
- Audience Measurement
These new solutions are the results of Audible Magic’s recent efforts to adapt its patented audio and video digital fingerprint technology to address fast emerging opportunities in global broadcasting markets. They include the SmartID content recognition solution and the SmartSync media synchronization service, which is available for iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and OSX platforms.
“Audible Magic’s ACR technology is poised to do for Smart TVs and other smart media devices roughly what GPS did for smart phones,” says Jay Friedman, Vice President of Marketing for Audible Magic. “Just as GPS made geo-location possible, our solutions identify and synchronize content on a range of new media appliances. Currently, our customers are integrating these solutions into many intriguing—and potentially very lucrative—applications.”
The company—which works with numerous application developers, content producers, and CE device companies to integrate the SmartID and SmartSync solutions—is also scheduling private demonstrations and conversations with its management at IBC. For more information, please email pr@audiblemagic.com.
