Latin America’s Top PET Experts Weigh up Challenges of R-PET (Recycled PET) at 9th LAPET in Mexico City

On 19-20 October, 9th LAPET (Latin America PET Packaging Markets) conference in Mexico City, will spotlight regional opportunities, trends for R-PET and challenges affecting PET packaging markets in Latin America

MEXICO CITY--()--The region’s most influential industry meet, 9th LAPET to feature experts’ views on staying competitive, innovative strategies, product offerings and Recycled PET.

Just as Coca Cola is targeting 25 percent R-PET content, many more companies are looking to increase their R-PET percentages too. So much so it remains unclear if prices will escalate or if R-PET is as cost effective as virgin PET, if it is still viable to trade in R-PET and what, if any, are the latest Mexican government’s initiatives for R-PET.

CMT’s 9th LAPET aims to answer above pertinent questions. Renowned not only as the largest gathering for PET suppliers and buyers in the region, 9th LAPET is also known for its line-up of top caliber speakers and highly informative sessions.
