DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/dc7c07/czech_republic_tel) has announced the addition of the "Czech Republic Telecommunications Report Q4 2011" report to their offering.
BMI's Q411 Telecoms market report for the Czech Republic contains updates to mobile, ARPU, fixed-line and internet forecasts as well as analysis of new developments in the country's telecoms industry. The analysis and forecasts are based on market data provided by fixed-line incumbent Telefnica O2, Deutsche Telekom-owned T-Mobile Czech Republic, Vodafone Czech Republic and cable operator UPC Czech Republic. The report also incorporates the latest data from the ITU for the fixed-line and internet markets relating to the end of December 2010.
The Czech mobile market contracted by 0.1% q-o-q during Q111 on the back of subscriber losses by Telefnica O2 and T-Mobile. The overall market decline in Q111, after two consecutive quarters of positive growth, supports the view that growth in the Czech mobile market will be sluggish going forward because of market saturation. Mobile penetration in the Czech Republic has largely remained flat during the past two years and is not expect to change significantly in the next five years. BMI forecast an average annual growth rate of 0.42% over the next five years, bringing the mobile subscriber base to just under 14mn or penetration rate of almost 132%.
