Skanska (STO:SKAB) has been awarded the design and construction contract for the Sepänkylä bypass road between Kotiranta, Vaasa, and Stormossen in Finland. The contract value is EUR 41 M, about SEK 370 M, which will be included in order bookings for the third quarter. Customer is the Finnish Transport Agency.
The project covers a 9 kilometer four lane road section, including 13 exits and 10 bridges. The Sepänkylä bypass road will be a part of Highway 8. Work will begin in September and is scheduled for completion in November 2014.
