NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Guggenheim Partners, LLC today announced that Charles Fisher will join Guggenheim Securities, the firm’s investment banking and capital markets arm, as senior managing director. Fisher will further strengthen the firm’s preeminent media investment banking group and is expected to start in mid-November.

Fisher is the head of Nomura Securities’ Media investment banking practice for the Americas. Previously, he served as managing director and led Nomura’s European cable investment banking business based in London, and was a managing director at Lehman Brothers in both London and New York.
Fisher began his banking career in the media sector in 2000 at Lehman Brothers, developing close and lasting relationships with companies spanning a broad cross section of the media industry. Prior to Wall Street, he was a consultant at Monitor Group. Fisher holds a B.A. (Honors) from Queen’s University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
