Skanska (STO:SKAB) has been awarded the construction contract for the third phase of Kannelmäki Shopping Center in Helsinki, Finland. The contract value is EUR 55 M, about SEK 500 M, which will be included in order bookings for the third quarter. Customer is Helsinki Cooperative Society Elanto (HOK-Elanto).
Kannelmäki Shopping Center, which will become one of the largest shopping centers in Finland, will have a floor space of 101 000 square meters. The third phase of the project comprises 45 000 square meters. Work begins in August and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2013. Skanska have also been responsible for the earlier phases of the project.
