WHAT:

Nintendo has something special for Orlando area residents who attend the Vans Warped Tour at the Central Florida Fairgrounds on July 29. Along with a powerful lineup of live music including headliners Gym Class Heroes and Pepper, attendees will be able to enjoy free hands-on demos of the new Nintendo 3DS system, which offers a wealth of games and portable entertainment options that can be viewed in 3D without the need for special glasses. Throughout the day, designated Nintendo sampling areas will invite visitors to experience built-in software and wireless features, plus a variety of video games available exclusively on Nintendo 3DS.

Solo or with their friends, attendees can use Nintendo 3DS to create customized Mii characters with the built-in Mii Maker application, snap 3D pictures and play video games including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Street Fighter® IV 3D Edition, DEAD OR ALIVE® Dimensions, Super Monkey Ball 3D, Madden NFL Football, RIDGE RACER® 3D and Resident Evil®: The Mercenaries 3D. They can also play with augmented-reality features and AR Games in wild ways, using oversized AR Cards to watch giant virtual characters appear on the festival grounds or applying temporary AR Card tattoos to make characters appear on their own bodies. Attendees who bring their own Nintendo 3DS systems can use them to wirelessly exchange Mii characters with other tour-goers using the built-in StreetPass feature.
